Website Rejuvenation

This website has been in existance for nearly seven years now. It was launched back in 2004 to coincide with the business starting. Even the company name was influenced by available domain names at time so we owe a lot of the success of Improve Your Skin to the website.

Over the years, the website has seen numerous updates including two redesigns. Our developer Si Jobling has managed to support us through the years with his expert skills in web design, development and search engine optimisation. In recent years, he’s also advised us on customer engagement using websites like Facebook, Twitter and Google Places.

Along with the upcoming Groupon campaign, we asked Si to do some work on the website at which point he suggested a complete overhaul, with regards to design and content. The previous design was looking a bit dated after nearly 3 years and needed some attention to bring it up to date with modern Web patterns. With that in mind, we’ve agreed to treat it as a work-in-progress. He’s keen to design the site to customer’s and client’s needs and will be monitoring behaviour over the coming months to ensure visitors get to the content they want in the shortest time possible.

We’re also keen to make the use of our Facebook and Twitter pages. Emma and Amelia have been working hard to improve awareness of our Facebook presence and Denise is really enthusiastic in using Twitter to engage with her customers. Make sure you “like” us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

If you have any suggestions for the website or notice any problems, make sure you let us know or even tell us when you visit.
